1.Overview
Mobile applications have revolutionized the way we access information and have a direct influence in our daily lives. It made life easier and more convenient for millions of people around the world. Restaurants have also been developing their own applications so customers can easily access all the necessary information about the restaurants such as menus, hours of operation and contact details. Reservations are also features of restaurant apps to make things more convenient for customers.
1. Design & Development Approach
The restaurant app project aim is to create a user-friendly and accessible app that provides customers with quick and easy access to information on the various restaurants within the Family of Eateries. This app will allow customers to view menus, locate a restaurant, make reservations, and access other helpful information about the restaurants within the Family of Eateries. The customers could also view the everyday specials of each restaurants.
2. The Process
The process of the project started with the research of existing restaurant apps. Looking at what is in the market inspires me and also helps with the practicality side of usability of the app. Next, i started with the branding of Family of Eateries and the 3 restaurants under it and later the sketch of the flow of the app and wireframe.
3. The Deliverable
The final was an accessible restaurant application that allow customers to choose from one of the three restaurants under Family of Eateries to view informations, menu or make a booking through the app. The app was created with different knowledge put together such as design, wireframe, prototype, html, css and javascript. Do view project and interact with the application to experience the final result of the project.
4. Version
Conclusion
In addition to developing a user-friendly mobile application for Family of Eateries, I have also designed a website homepage that perfectly aligns with the one of the restaurant's unique branding style guide. The homepage showcases the essence of Ceviche, capturing the spirit of the restaurant and enticing users to explore its offerings. There is also a note from the Chef to make customers feel more personal.
